This is the archive of the collected knowledge which the Empire has on truly alien races. This is opposed to the individuals that have chosen to have genetic alterations made, thereby making them appear "alien" in nature, but still retain largely human genetic makeup. It has been determined that being covered in fur or having a scorpions tail is not enough to qualify a person as being of a race. A race must have evolved in a "natural" environment without the intentional intervention of the scientific community. There have been many struggles between the "Pure Breeds" and the "Alterants" over the years, but none have become widespread or overtly violent. |
