***   Watch for changes to this area soon ***

***  We have changed our stellar mapping software to something written this century and we will be posting all new data here in the near future.  You are free to look at what we have here, but it is pretty much going to all go into the trash can over the next couple of month.  Oh well, the price of progress.  :-)  ***

On the following pages you will find a listing of the various systems in Sector 1 and what is to be found there.  Initially all there will be is the most basic of system surveys that are compiled by the Interstellar Scout Service (ISS).  As the ISS does more in-depth surveys, the information will be added to this database.  This section will probably be the slowest to develop as charting and surveying all the stars is a very long and involved process.  (Not to mention very time consuming for the webmaster)  :-)

Until a planet is colonized or otherwise claimed, it is identified only by the ISS number given it during the initial survey.  In the case of Sector 1, these go from ISS-001 through ISS-221, which of course indicates that there are 221 star systems in this sector of space.

This is the Shakaroo Galaxy and the blue "You are here" marker shows the star cluster that the campaign will be starting out in.  As you can see, we have allowed for LOTS of space to expand into as need and time permits.

Here is Sector 1, otherwise known as the star cluster that we are starting out in.  This is the little dot that is referenced above on the Galaxy map.

All the star maps on this page are being generated by Astrologicus, which was produced and sold by Logicrucible, Inc.   Over the years and having worked with a number of different generator programs, this has proven to be by far the best available.  Unfortunately, it seems that Logicrucible has closed its doors and finding copies of this software may prove more than a little challenging.

Here is a screen capture done with CHView showing the Shakaroo Sector.  Click to see it at full size.
